A little rough around the edges, but a good value for the money. I would stay again. Check in was simple, although 2 front doors can be a bit confusing at first, they both lead to the same lobby area. The one on the right has the door bell, so that's the one I recommend using. I booked a single, but was upgraded! That was a nice surprise and gave me a bit more space than I expected. The rough edges are a bit of wear and tear (I stayed at the end of the peak season). The manager is aware of and has plans to repair soon, so should be good for future visits. I did not opt for breakfast or any extras. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Decor was nice. Location was good with bus stop almost on the doorstep. If you are a tourist (like me) be aware that the local buses do not announce stops, so if you are not paying attention you will miss the stop (like me). Luckily there is another stop only a couple blocks away. Easy walk or bus ride to town centre/high street, food, and shops.

Just arrived from London as I’m working in Redcar tomorrow so didn’t want too long a car journey. This place is really nice especially for the price. Good quality fixtures and fittings very well done out. And the staff member I dealt with was very helpful and friendly Very good

A Lovely hotel with friendly Staff and the room we stayed in is amazing. A quick bus ride from the racecourse or 15-20min walk. Not far from the town either. Breakfast is £9 for a full English and you get a good meal. Me personally I don't like the sausage they use or the fact the mushrooms were deep fried ( my own personal preference). But 5* non the less. Will definitely stay again

As a business professional I have used The Caribbean for long periods, maybe up to 6 months at a time. The accommodation is excellent, and better than most of the hotels and B&Bs in Doncaster - believe me, I tried a hotel and another B&B before settling on The Caribbean. It has all the facilities you need and if you are staying for an extended period of time, Dene is very accommodating in adjusting the room to suit your needs. Very close to town and all transport routes, I can't think why anyone would stay anywhere else. If I ever have work or meet friends near Doncaster then The Caribbean is my first choice. Even the large en-suite rooms are at very reasonable rates - so surprising the wife with a luxury four poster wasn't difficult.

Great location 5-10min stroll from the town centre. Staff were down to earth, welcoming and lovely. The room was well facilitated, spotlessly clean and spacious with an amazing shower. I'm usually sceptical when I stay in hotels, guest houses or B&B's as the beds are like cardboard....but I can honestly say this was the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. Free parking, bonus.

Very clean and cosy room, very comfy bed, owner greeted us on arrival, 100% professional and extremely welcoming. Definitely staying here again. Hotel is on the main road but not too noisy as quality windows installed. Free WiFi, USB ports on sockets, amazing shower. My partner and I have stayed in big chain hotels previously and although they were marginally cheaper (on average between £2-£15) the quality and comfort of the Kellett Hotel surpasses them all.
